coming Wednesday Update...

Next Wednesday, May 6, 2009 we will start a new 3 Part Wednesday Update mini-series on President Obama's First 100 Days... & the Proverbial "End Times" of the Bible...

Are we living in the hour of greatest crisis in the history of our Republic? Without question in my opinion, but the real question might be, Are we living in the hour of greatest crisis in the history of mankind on earth? If the Church (the Body of all born-again believers) is God's instrument of grace and truth on earth, I would say so.

Everything is a bit crazy. Obama writes a book bashing the Church and with little good to say about America, though he is certain he has a superior moral vision to our past and even founding in order to lead us into a new day, etc., etc. The whole thing strikes me as a bit "odd," to tell you the truth. Will Obama be our last, as well as our first, openly postmodern, humanist President? Maybe, maybe not.

So, what is the good news? The Bible says a time in all history is coming when things have to get really, really, really dark, decadent and deceived before they will get better, truly better in a new era of peace, justice and righteousness on earth! So, if things were not so crazy, truly crazy, I would be worried that they are not going to get better, if not in the near future certainly within the lifetimes of most of us alive today I would think, or, at least hope for those who, by God's grace, live thru these coming days. The near future may be a bit trying, presumably, given where we are now, but, regardless, join us next time, Wednesday, May 6, for Part 1 of "With a Heavy Heart... I write these words."  The picnic is now over? Like the (first) Battle of Bull Run, it didn’t last too long?
